Hello hello! I’m Rosie. I’m a knitter, baker, reader, podcaster, lapsed stand-up comedian, children’s literature student, and Netflix devotee. I also have a long-term, disabling disease called M.E. or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Around my napping, hospital appointments and pyjama curation, I am an accidental journalist and commentator.

I write on the subject of disability and welfare, feminism and pop culture, socialism and the Labour Party. You can find my writing in the New Statesman, the Observer and the Huffington Post. I also turn up on television and radio: you can see and hear me on Sky News, BBC Two, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 5Live. Want to commission me? Please do!

I love your writing! I read your piece last year when you posted in the new statesmen and I love your new article on isolation for M.E awareness week. I really appreciate that you’re writing about your experiences and getting the word out there. It’s easy when you get diagnosed to just fold away quietly and instead you’re out guns blazing. It’s nice to read about a fellow twenty- something female and realise that I’m not alone.
Keep writing, and an email sign up thing on your blog would be cool :).
